Hospice Care Education
Principles Of Hospice Care
A critical point in hospice care is that you have to make conversations with the passing one, that help them to tie the loose ends.
Ask them: “You are about to move on, do you have any concerns that are still bothering you?” “You don’t need to worry, if you make the arrangements, things will roll out perfectly.” Let them think about the arrangements and take care of them. This part of hospice care is vital.
To help the passing one to sustain a positive mind and remain at peace, we should:
a. Avoid expressing any grievance in front of them. They need to eliminate all negative emotions including desire, anger, and hatred.
b. Repeatedly remind them to let go of all worldly attachments.
c. Help them to enter death with righteous thoughts, with positive and peaceful minds that are full of humble respect, love, and compassion. This is very important!
IMPORTANT!!
Attitude: Always express with great love, be kind and patient. Don’t rush anything and don’t make it too serious.
